Our own instructions, as well as instructions from Dell, are designed to help you successfully remove and replace various laptop parts the correct way to minimize the risk of damaging your computer.

About Dell's On-Line Manuals
A wealth of information can be found in the manuals available on-line at the Dell support site. When you get there:
- Select the Product Type of your computer from the drop-down list (Inspiron, Latitude, etc.)
- Select the Product Model number from the second drop-down list.
- Click Go.
- Select English (or the language of your choice)
- At this point, documents will vary from model to model. If the User's Guide and Service Manual are available as HTML documents, you will (usually) be able to link to them directly on the web by clicking View. PDF documents can be downloaded and read in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
