Optical Drive Replacement Instructions for Acer Aspire 3610

Replacing the optical drive in your Acer Aspire 3610 is very easy and only takes a couple steps. First, with your computer ON, eject the disk tray from your optical drive.

With the disk tray ejected, turn off your computer and unplug it from any power supply. Unscrew the one screw securing the optical drive in its bay.

Using your thumb and one finger, remove the optical drive from the computer by pulling out on each side of the disk tray frame.

Slide the new optical drive securely into the bay, remembering to re-insert the locking screw.
