Hard Drive Replacement Instructions for Acer Aspire 3610

Replacing the hard drive in your Acer Aspire 3610 Series is very easy and only takes a few steps. First, make sure your computer is unplugged from any power source, then remove the battery. The hard drive is found below the L-shape panel at the front of your computer.

Now unscrew the hard drive cover and lift up to remove it.

   

Remove each of the four screws securing your hard drive caddy. Then pull the hard drive out of the computer by pulling on the clear tab attached to the back of the hard drive.

   

To replace the hard drive, simply follow these instructions in reverse, making sure to install your new hard drive right side up to prevent damaging the hard drive or your computer.
